Trip to the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home
On Saturday morning, April 15th, we will take the church bus to Franklin and the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes. After a tour of the facility, we will feed and entertain approximately fifteen children, ages 5th grade through high school, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The bus will leave FBC at 8:45 AM and return around 2:15 PM. There will be a meeting following the morning service on February 26th for questions and sign-ups, and a meeting on April 2nd to finalize details. In the meantime, see Morgan Bostedt or Katie McGee for more info.
Mission Trip: New Orleans for Children’s Ministry
We finally have a mission trip set up – join us and be a missionary! The week of July 16th – 22nd, 2023 we will serve through MissionLab in New Orleans. We’ll stay on the campus at New Orleans Seminary, where lodging and meals will be provided. In the mornings we’ll do children’s ministry for a local church—perhaps VBS for a church which could not otherwise, etc., and in the afternoon’s other types of ministry—prayer walking, or homeless ministry, for example. The cost will be approximately $375.00 for the entire week. We need 20 – 25 people to make this happen! See Bro. Dean if you’re interested or have questions. Money and sign-up will be due in May, but we need to be sure we have enough people interested well prior to that!
