These are internationally agreed-upon standards that cover a wide range of recommendations and best practices for making content usable. As we add new pages and functionality to our website, all designs, code, and content entry practices are checked against these standards.
Website accessibility is an ongoing process. We continually test content and features for WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance and remediate any issues to ensure we meet or exceed the standards. - Our text and background colors meet contrast ratios requirements so that our content can be read comfortably
- Our website uses semantic HTML so that assistive technologies can actually understand the structure of a web page, which helps users navigate between sections and interact with different elements way more easily.
- Our website allows users to increase the text size up to 200% without disrupting the page layout or viewing experience.
- Our website keeps animation and visual effects to a minimum and avoids flashing colors that can overwhelm, distract, or disorient a user.
